Spotlight Wins Best Picture of the Year

Read our extensive coverage of the history behind the movie.

Tom Doyle, the priest-whistleblower-hero of the Catholic sex abuse scandal, reviewed Spotlight for us here.

BishopAccountability.org, our regular Guest Blogger, maintains all the archives on the scandal. BishopAccountability was the source of the list of all locations where abuse has occurred that scrolls through at the end of the movie. BA’s guide to the documentation of the scandal is available here.

Our Guest Blogger, Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP), posed a challenge to journalists, “Where Spotlights Are Needed Now,” here, and thanked other, less famous, journalists for their work in exposing the scandal here.

We hope that the publicity surrounding the movie will help the survivors around the world who continue to seek justice.
